Best not to underrate librarians. More than three decades ago I encountered the lady who ran the museum and library in St. John, #Antigua . At the time #canada , #uk and the #us had cut off aid to the government of #antiguaandbarbuda because of its record of governance and human rights. Because the library and museum were part of a separate non-profit they were still funded. They seemed an oasis of free expression presided over by an articulate and brave #afrocaribbean woman!
