Think I'm ready for tomorrow's game. #Roll20 build completed with everything needed to run Zozer's Far Horizon.

Using the #TravellerRPG 2e sheet which works well enough for #Cepheus. I've added oxygen readouts for the team if they use their suits and a mission time remaining (ie the 96 hours they have before they have to burn for home).

A little nervous about this (it's a long time since I ran a dedicated exploration based game. Perhaps I should watch 2010 tonight for inspiration?

Pondering running Zozer's โ€œFar Horizon" scenario for #Hostile / #Cepheus Universal over the Christmas break. set around 2100, the players will be the crew of a fission-powered long range explorer nuclear thermal rocket who a diverted to intercept an interstellar wanderer. What I like about it is that it's got elements of troupe play and is focused on exploration & understanding rather than combat. The only challenge to find the players and a suitable schedule!

In our Traveller campaign, the Deepnight Revelation has reached the Federated Commonwealth of Worlds, a large polity that spans several sectors. Most of the people here are humans, and it's a strange experience for a lot of the crew to be back amongst 'civilisation' again.

However, they have nothing which could be considered 'money' in this region, so will need to find ways of paying for goods and services.

Something I started doing, but never finished, when I first wrote the integration between Traveller Map and Foundry, was a way to import world data directly into a Foundry journal.

I've revisited this feature, and I'm adding a way to create a journal entry with a click of a button. If only my own Deepnight campaign wasn't so far off the beaten track, this is something I'd make use of a lot.

Currently all a work in progress.

The equipment descriptions in the Mongoose 2300AD rulebook come just before the relevant illustrations, which leads to this accidental juxtaposition of the excavating tools illustration with the locksmithing description due to them appearing at the bottom of the page. In fairness, this quite accurately illustrates my characters' usual approach to picking a lock.
