BREAKING:

Scientists announce that the processes which created the "poppy seeds" and "leopard spots" features #Perseverance encountered at Bright Angel were most likely biological metabolisms.

That's as close to announcing ancient life found on Mars as it has ever been

Robert A. Heinleine wrote about a team landing on the Moon, who, after building a radio shack there, contemplate building some huge vacuum tube amplifiers in-situ too, with all the internals of the tubes laid out in the open; vacuum would be provided by nature for free, so there would be no need for rigid tube enclosures.

Some filtering out of Moon dust might be necessary though 😀

Not to spoil the novel's plot, but Nazis where on the #Moon way earlier than Nazi Musk was even a molecule in this world, according to #Heinlein. They didn't fare well there, either.

So, Musk & Co are now trying a #Mars grift…
