In the shadow of a 19th-20th century slag pile, a beach has been transformed into a cemented platform of reworked slag particles.

The anthropogenic debris is so far out of equilibrium with surface conditions that you get rapid cement formation, and within decades, an anthropogenic "rock".

A dual left/right stereoscopic pair of ochre toned photographies capturing a Martian rock. This dual image is intended to be used to obtain a Stereo3D rendition of the scene through parallel viewing, and not cross-eyed viewing. The rock is darker than its surroundings, with a smooth texture, three bright speckles on its top face, and cavities on its sides.
