The action cards, should you decide to acquire them, give you a super power you can use once in the game: for example, jump your starship to any star on the board or empty the ore in the cargo holds of an opponent. The idea is to add just a bit of edgy unpredictability to the game but not enough to make it feel chaotic.

Content Warning

Just made a breakthrough today on solo play: you will need to choose from a series of navigation missions, visiting stars in the correct order to pick up enough ore and wormhole power cubes to build the required colonies and research stations. If you visit the stars in the wrong order, you will run out of power or ore and not be able to complete your mission.

So the solo game will be graph traversal puzzles.
