As a longtime practitioner, scholar, and teacher of #Buddhism I can only say that "engaged Buddhism" usually means attending to folks like @DAIR .
@yetiinabox @DAIR The harm done by AI today to the planet and animals (human and otherwise) makes it IMV incompatible with Buddhism.
