Close the ICE detention centers.
@georgetakei
It's Concentration Camps.
Not detention centers!!!
In case the people in the back haven’t caught on billionaires owned the government they own the Republican Party, which controls the federal government totally and they don’t want American values.
Their idea of what they want American values to be it has no relationship to the constitution and to fundamental morality.
They have no zip zip
What is that: „Un-American“?
I understand y‘all‘s need for exceptionalism. But not being a barbarian and not loosing the most basic human decency doesn’t set you apart.
@georgetakei it is as American as the internment of the Japanese after Pearl Harbor. As American as barbary
@georgetakei, you've dropped the ball. Link to the video!
@georgetakei I have always cringed when I hear people say something is un-American. TF does that even mean given our history.
@georgetakei unfortunately it is American now
@georgetakei Counterproposal: Keep the ICE detention centres & put ICE in them pending trial
"Unacceptable and UnAmerican",
What, you mean like torture? Arrest and years in jail without warrants? Rendition to Arab torture chambers? Torture in your own torture chambers, like the Canadian teenager?
Nobody paid anything for any of that. Not even the actual American torturers.
Lady, since then, that IS "who you are".
Still is...because you wrote "unacceptable" instead of "a crime, and I will dedicate my career to their arrest and punishment".
Certainly unacceptable, but 'American' is something highly debatable now. Given the history, it's actually quite American.
@georgetakei 'un-american' i guess she skipped history lessons.. cant think of anyhting more grimgo than killing and plundering the americas and the calling themselves 'americans'..
@georgetakei Stop calling it unamerican. It's now called typical USA.
हिति , in Nepāl Bhāṣā, is the word for a shared community water tap. Even in modern Newar cities, these ancient structures still pour out fresh mountain water piped through ancient underground filters and conduits. They are a place to wash, to talk, to drink, to meet the locals: a nourishing, refreshing social-ecological place.
