Are we paying attention yet, America?
No, we are not paying attention to a “smug, self-absorbed, and economically illiterate” failed CA governor.
Hilarious.
@georgetakei been paying attention since before Trump was even considering running for president.
@georgetakei Paying attention, yes, but Newsom is not who we want leading anything. Dude is complete shit.
@georgetakei
Fuck Gavin Newsom. Bastard is anti-trans and will not stand up to ICE
The #FascistState of #Trumpistan. Apparently many #snowflakes are happy to live there. #GriftersGonnaGrift - #LiarsGonnaLie - #FascistsGonnaFascist. #GoodbyeAmerica.
@georgetakei
@georgetakei my problem with Gov Newsome is he's good at speeches and soundbytes, but he's just as entrenched as the rest of the career politicians. The decisions being made at the end of the day aren't for the people, they're to advance his career, in my opinion.
That being said, joining the World Health Organization was a masterstroke, and I hope it shakes some shit up.
Please, George, don't every quote gavin again.
this asshole is throwing trans kids under the bus.
he doesn't deserve ANY of your respect and time.
@georgetakei Newsome needs to do better than just saying stuff and show that he is the real opposition to fascism than bringing the diet MAGA lite version. Like his pathetic interview with Ben Shapiro recently, his actions are way silent than his posts.
@georgetakei
Will he dissolve ICE?
@georgetakei Concur…and NO, most folks under 50 are…checking their phones, waiting for a mani-pedi appt to come available, ordering Uber Sumthin.. How do I know? If they weren’t spending their life not paying attention, we wouldn’t be here today.
@georgetakei In Europa sollte uns das aus den Geschichtsbüchern bekannt sein. Aber auch hier fällt die Saat auf fruchtbaren Boden.
@georgetakei Yes. But one fears that forum is full of broken people who have been jealously taking notes on how to do it themselves.
हिति , in Nepāl Bhāṣā, is the word for a shared community water tap. Even in modern Newar cities, these ancient structures still pour out fresh mountain water piped through ancient underground filters and conduits. They are a place to wash, to talk, to drink, to meet the locals: a nourishing, refreshing social-ecological place.
