@cavyherd That's an excellent video. Is there a follow-up on what we should do about it? Or do we just have to wait so long people suffer enough to start killing billionnaires and blowing up datacentres, forcing the arm of politicians to regulate and restore the protections and guardrails that are currently being eroded? @hollie @bennjordan @pluralistic

A good start would probably be reading @pluralistic 's book Enshittification. •Especially• if you are resident outside of the US. (He also has numerous talks out there on YT, if you're not up to reading the whole book.) I haven't read it personally (I've been following his blog for a few years, so I feel I'm reasonably up to speed?) but I gather he has some solid recommendations for actions to take.
