Lindsey needs to go back to law school. There's the little matter of proving damages when you sue. How's he going to show that seizing his phone records cost him tens of millions of dollars?
To the extent that his phone calls had any connection with public affairs, they were subject to FOIA demands already. I know. When I was an elected official, a member of the opposition party used FOIA to get my personal cell phone records. (Now, I blacked out all the calls that weren't related to my government work, as I had a right to do. But I did produce all the records of anything involving public business.)
This just feels like the part where they bankrupt the company and scrap it for parts.
They have no desire to lead or repair.
They're just gonna grab everything they can for themselves before it collapses.
