@georgetakei Just learned she was only 15 at the time of the photo - wow. π Kids donβt start out racist, they acquire it from family and friends and other toxic people. Iβm glad to see she did some good in later life. Sadly I donβt think many of those spouting hate now care what they look like in photos, or have managed any self-reflection.

This is a photo of Elizabeth Eckford, one of the Little Rock nine and Hazel Bryan shouting racial slurs at her.
She did change her stance on integration and did work to improve. There was a reconciliation attempt but it didnβt seem to have worked.
