Two years ago, NASA's Curiosity Mars rover captured this feathery iridescent cloud after sunset. The color is created by diffraction effects when sunlight is scattered by small CO2 particles in the cloud.

A long stretched wispy cloud, almost shaped like a feather glows in the sky of Mars at dusk. The cloud shines in different colors, from blue near the horizon, to a yellowish-green on the other side.

These clouds regularly form in early southern autumn and stay illuminated after sunset due to their exceptional altitude (60-80 km).
A paper by Lemmon et. al. describes observations in previous seasons, and how iridescence can help to measure the size of ice particles.

I stitched the panorama from 14 Mastcam Left images from the PDS that were color calibrated and corrected for pixel defects. The panorama was enhanced to emphasize cloud structure and the subtle color variations.

A 𑐴𑐶𑐟𑐶 (hiti) is an ancient Newah urban water feature: a stepped, sunken courtyard with waterspouts and a central pool. These are fed through a remarkable network of pipes, reservoirs, and irrigation systems drawing water from mountain springs dozens of kilometres away. Every day, hundreds of people from the neighbourhood come to draw water, bathe, and exchange news. They are a unique and precious feature of Newa urban architecture through which neighbourhoods are created.
