@georgetakei I have hopes that in two years when the next round of Congressional elections come people will be fed up enough to vote in a Democratic majority who will promptly move to impeach, and remove Trump, and Vance, making new Speaker of the House Hakeem Jeffries the President.
I can hope, right?

@georgetakei
The question is not, "which Constitutional amendments would Trump have to change to do X?", but rather what will be his excuse for suspending the Constitution (reluctantly, then permanently).

Isn't this obvious to Americans?

@georgetakei unfortunately I could see congress bowing to the whim of this fuckwit electee and get rid of term limits for presidency, since Congress themselves are extremely against themselves having term limits.

@georgetakei I think the real answer would be found in biology: the corrupt Supreme Court might even decide in favour of the Orange One ... however, biology works differently, and factors like obesity, mental decline, and an unhealthy lifestyle might have the last say on this hypothetical question.

And Spineless Vance will certainly also not be too happy about a third term (I think he's monitoring the orange man-child's health very closely). 😬

@georgetakei

Steve Bannon knows that Trump has no constitutional right to a third term. He's just plowing the ground for him to remain as president beyond Jan. 20, 2029, without an election, because only the Great and Powerful Wizard of Mar-a-Lago can save us from ourselves. Not.
