This is absurd. If another country hit our top civilian and military leaders and wiped them out, then bombed 1,000 targets and threatened five more weeks of bombings, we'd say it was war. Get real or get out of here with this.

@georgetakei an undeclared war. I think that also impinges on international law. IANAL but I think some of the Geneva clauses relate to armed forces in uniform in a declared war, prescribing protections for those captured.
Perhaps the Administration is not concerned with s7ch protections.
@georgetakei You know as well as I do that if you call it a "war" that there are globally accepted rules of war, and the current view by some countries is that as long as you don't call it a war, your opponent's forces don't get the rights they'd get under a war. No war crimes, no prisoners of war, no Geneva convention.
Not saying it makes sense, or that it's actually going to hold. But it matches what they do.

This war happened to start extremely conveniently when there seemed to be some movement on the Epstein files. Now everyone has forgotten about those and nothing will happen about them ever again.
