Well, that was quite satisfying. I've used bind for our local network (and VPN) for many years, but only just now implemented a sinkhole using RPZ. Here are two useful pages:

I had to edit the requirements file for this to accept PyYAML>=6.0 and validate>=2.0 but otherwise relatively easy.

Much easier than shifting over to PiHole.
