@georgetakei Next president should tear down Mar-a-Lago when Trump is gone and issue a statement, "Oops. My bad. I just wanted to tear down something for no reason, and Trump's home seemed a good idea. We're razing the ball room to build a new East Wing if Trump wants all the pieces and debris."

Did Trump address why the contractor had to sue him to get paid for tearing down the East Wing, and for exposing the contractor's workers to asbestos and lead?
The contractor sued and was immediately awarded with an order to pay for the cost of razing the building, plus attorneys fees.
Query, who was the contracting party? Presumably not Trump personally. It wasn't the USG. So, who?

Trump - and whatever legal entity he's using to build his Epstein Dance Hall to replace the East Wing - had to be ordered by a court to pay for the demolition, plus attorneys fees.

@georgetakei he's tearing down the country without much resistance (no king protest: 7 millions people, ten time less than the amount who got him elected in '24), so why he'd be bothered with tearing down a building?
