I’m just glad to see folks calling out the entire Republican Party and not just Trump. I’m so tired of Democrats in congress being unwilling to explicitly blame their entire party for these things. Seems like they don’t want to hurt the feelings of their “friends across the aisle” while those “friends” have no problem stabbing the democrats in the back when it comes to actual votes.

Nothing serves our Democracy better than the truth, and the truth is that Trump and the Republicans refuse to honor their oaths to serve Americans, in this case hungry American children. Contrary to the belief of the red hat cult supporters, Most snap recipients are white, American born children. Elected, Republican, government representatives are not in it to serve the American people. There in it to serve themselves and their wealthy friends.
The only thing about this, is the massive surge in communities organizing to help people in need. But the task is truly staggering. SNAP provides nine times the food of food pantries collectively.
This itself is damning of the United States. The majority on SNAP are children and the elderly. Most people are on it for a year to deal with financial difficulty.
But it is largest and wealthiest retail companies in our nation that deliberately pay people below subsistence.
He's a psychopath who couldn't care less about those kids.
