@georgetakei You are not the president of the US who has access to nuclear codes. You would have made a rather good #Potus though, I believe 🙂
@georgetakei "Sure she can consistently speak coherently and it's a functional adult. But can she draw a clock?"
It's weird to agree, but - yes, please. Test both him and AOC and publish the results. Honestly, cognitive testing of all elected positions seems a reasonable ask.
@georgetakei Also MRIs aren’t a standard part of regular physicals.
#ShitForBrains in #Trumpistan. A #dementia test in not required for the baboon. We already know the answer. @georgetakei
@georgetakei happy to hear it, may you never have to!
@georgetakei He lied about the first one. He listed off things he saw in front of him when asked what was on the test.
But the real test uses words that purposely cannot be related to each other, because even people with severe cognitive decline can make a story out of related words to remember them.
Samples of the test are available online. Look 'em up. His list would never appear on the MoCA.
Possible because you earned your career through hard work and skill, unlike Rump who was handed his position by the 1% (aka DEI).
@georgetakei The thing is, it’s not shameful to take the test. It’s not shameful to get older. What’s shameful is for his handlers not to gracefully acknowledge that he is no longer competent to serve in the office, and remove him before he does more damage. And they’re doing this intentionally and in full knowledge (The alternative is that they are all complete morons, which, while possible, seems unlikely) because they know they can manipulate the situation to their benefit.
 @georgetakei
I have taken it a few times. So far, I am still running around loose.
@georgetakei "those are very hard"... is he really talking about that dementia test where he had to like memorize five words for a few minutes?!
How many people does it take to dress and feed him? And change him apparently.
@georgetakei To be fair, Mr. Takei, you have a brain.
@georgetakei Wait... Trump just openly stated that his recent not-an-annual-physical at Walter Reed involved cognitive tests?
@georgetakei Start suggesting people inject bleach into themselves, or claim you've solved "like a bajillion wars" and someone will probably get you to start doing them PDQ as well.
@georgetakei Under any other circumstances a president wouldn't mention such a test a lot if at all but at least not with such pride. Trump though has lowered the bar of expectations so much that he expects us to celebrate everything he does. His supporters who act like young parents having successes in potty training emphasize that of course.
@georgetakei You are probably not showing classic symptoms of galloping dementia.
@georgetakei The dementia is calling from inside the house.
हिति , in Nepāl Bhāṣā, is the word for a shared community water tap. Even in modern Newar cities, these ancient structures still pour out fresh mountain water piped through ancient underground filters and conduits. They are a place to wash, to talk, to drink, to meet the locals: a nourishing, refreshing social-ecological place.
