@georgetakei As I understand it, the oil companies don't even want to go in to Venezuela. The oil fields are a wreck, and will take billions and over a decade to put back in production. Plus there's an oil glut and prices per barrel are too low for them to make money. Plus the Venezuelan government (which Trump failed to depose) doesn't want them there. It's all incredibly stupid.

Frankly, it's somewhat comical to hear US Americans say they're going to run another country when they can't even competently run their own, despite over 200 years of trying.
They have no idea of what comes next, no matter the issue. They do a great job of tearing things down. But replacing? Not so much. Think healthcare. Think East Wing. Think gutting the US gov’t.
