@georgetakei they thought they were joining a team. They were never a part of his ideals, efforts or vision. It is truly tragic that they didn't see it for what it was sooner. Most Trump voters are *probably* decent people trying their best. They were lied to through very basic tactics involving human logically fallacies and manipulation.

You know what it reminds me of : when Stalin used to send some of his β€œclose friends” to the gulags.
The poor fellows were sending him letters, convinced that they’d been framed by some jealous rival, or that they’d been the victims of a gross error, and that Stalin would have them released as soon as he realized their situation.
They died in the camps, unable to conceive that it was Stalin himself who had sent them there.
