This is why I have a rough time listening to authors talk about stuff other than their books (well, some anyway, & she's Exhibit A). I hate that she created an interesting literary world full of some of my fave characters, but this shit comes out of her mouth and mind in the years since.
Probably why I've delayed in re-reading the original 7 books... instead I just read the fanfiction of my fave characters away from her.
She started going downhill for me when she told everybody that Dumbledore was gay. It was like "uh... and that impacts the story HOW, exactly?" Let the work speak for itself, and maybe if you wrote it well enough, folks can pick up the nuance. Isn't that fiction writing 101, anyway?
Ugh... she's almost as annoying as DT. Every time she makes a headline, it's for worse and worse crap.
