BTW, I do not have any desire to do this, but the only thing that could bring me to set up a Bsky account would be higher ed connection in the time we're in. Rightly or wrongly, a lot of US academics landed there. I'm never putting my sociality on another dubious corporate network, but in practical terms I may have to meet people where they are.
